[05-28-2022] San Bernardino County, CA – 11-Year-Old Boy Killed Following a Deadly Skateboard Crash in Hesperia

An unidentified 11-year-old boy was killed after a tragic skateboard accident in Hesperia on Saturday afternoon, May 28, 2022.

The accident transpired at approximately 12:35 p.m. on Choiceana Avenue and Hercules Street in Hesperia.

The 11-year-old boy was riding his skateboard on the roadway when a gray-colored SUV suddenly crashed into him.

The young boy was immediately taken to an area hospital. Unfortunately, he was unable to survive his injuries and was later pronounced dead.

The female SUV driver remained at the scene and was cooperative with the authorities. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.

Local authorities are further investigating the cause of the accident.
