According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 9:00 p.m. on the eastbound 22 Freeway at Brookhurst Street.

He was identified as Trung T., 38, according to the Orange County coroner’s office. His city of residence was not available.

Tram was discovered on the ground when the authorities arrived and was pronounced dead there.

He was on the freeway, but it was unclear why.

The crash’s specifics were not known.
