According to the Tulare Police Department, a pedestrian died after being hit by a train on Cross Avenue early Friday morning, July 15, 2022.
The Tulare Police said the crash occurred before 5:00 a.m. near Cross Avenue and J Street.
The witnesses told the authorities that they saw the pedestrian walking west across the tracks in front of the train while the train was traveling south.
The authorities located the victim and determined that she had already passed away. Nobody has been able to identify her.
The investigators are still trying to determine what caused the collision.
