According to the authorities, one person suffered an unknown injury in a two-vehicle collision involving a tractor-trailer and SUV in Palmdale late Thursday night, July 14, 2022.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 11:46 p.m. at the intersection of Avenue M and 50th Street East.
Officers arrived and found an SUV and a tractor-trailer had collided.
Responding paramedics/firefighters from Los Angeles County Fire Department Station 135 took the SUV’s driver to a nearby hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The trailer’s driver, who was not hurt, was seen discussing the collision with the police.
At this point, it is unclear what led to the collision or whether alcohol-related impairment or speeding contributed.
