The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of South Nutwood Street, next to Modjeska Park.

The vehicle involved was an Acura sports sedan.

According to the local authorities, the three people were inside the Acura, and one uninvolved bystander was hurt.

All the injured were brought to nearby hospitals in an unknown state of health.

According to the witness, the sedan was outracing another vehicle on Nutwood Street as it was traveling south.

The sedan finally stopped near West Woodworth Drive and the Nutwood Street intersection.
