A 39-year-old man was hurt after a collision in North Park on Friday, July 8, 2022.
The crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. at Wightman Street and Arnold Avenue.
According to the preliminary reports, the skateboarder was involved in a car accident.
Early reports indicated that a skateboarder on Wightman Street left the sidewalk and collided with a car being driven by a woman, 46, on Arnold Avenue.
The man had a fractured skull and a bleeding brain when he was taken to the hospital. The injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
The car’s driver was unharmed, and drinking did not play a role in the collision.
There are no other details available.
The crash remains under investigation.
