[07-30-2022] San Diego County, CA - High-Speed DUI Crash Injured Two People on 10th AvenueAccording to the authorities, a male Corvette driver and his female passenger were speeding and hit a parked car, injuring them on 10th Avenue Saturday, July 30, 2022.

According to the authorities, the crash occurred around 4:08 a.m. eastbound of 10th Avenue.

The driver carried on and struck a second parked car. The Corvette veered off the road and onto a sidewalk lined with numerous tents for the homeless.

A few minutes before the collision, the car’s two occupants had just exited a tent when it was struck.

The male driver was hurt and taken to a nearby hospital while being detained for DUI.

The female had left the area before returning. Despite having fiberglass from a Corvette embedded in her skin, she declined medical care.

10th Avenue was closed while the area was being cleaned up and investigated.
