One unidentified 52-year-old man was injured after falling at Bristow Middle School on Thursday morning, July 14, 2022.
The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District was called to the scene at 8:45 am at Bristow Middle School in the City of Brentwood.
Initial reports state that the male fell while performing construction work and was still on the rooftop, making access difficult.
A medical helicopter was also requested along with several Contra Costa County Fire units, including Truck 83, for ladder access.
Crews were attempting to rescue the man from a high point. Fortunately, the 52-year-old man’s condition was reportedly stable.
The initial request for a medical helicopter was later withdrawn.
According to Battalion 9, the patient had been eventually taken off the rooftop.
