[12-04-2020] Ventura County, CA – Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Port Hueneme Kills One Person

An unidentified male pedestrian was killed after getting hit by a passing vehicle in Port Hueneme on Friday night, December 4.

The deadly accident occurred at around 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of Ventura Road and Channel Islands Boulevard. The pedestrian was reportedly attempting to cross Ventura Road heading westbound; as he made it across the northbound lanes to the center median, he was suddenly hit by a passing vehicle.

The victim sustained critical injuries as a result of the crash. He was taken to Ventura County Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
