According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, the collision occurred at around 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of Bushard and Hamilton.

Authorities stated that two young adults were trapped inside a car. The HBFD responded and was able to extricate the occupants, including the driver, who was airlifted to a hospital.

It is believed that the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it lost control and crashed into the northwest corner of a building.

No further details were released, and authorities are gathering all the necessary information to determine the factors leading to the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
