A pedestrian, identified as 60-year-old Jimmy J. of Apple Valley, was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Victorville on Monday evening, January 19, 2026.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred at approximately 6:40 p.m. near the intersection of Seventh Street and Circle Drive.
Authorities stated that the pedestrian walked into the No. 2 northbound lane of Seventh Street and was struck by a black Chevrolet Suburban traveling northbound.
Emergency responders from the Victorville Fire Department and American Medical Response transported the victim to Saint Mary’s Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Officials said the driver of the Suburban remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
The incident remains under investigation.
