An unidentified person was killed following a deadly train crash in Pomona on early Monday morning, January 24, 2022.

The pedestrian was struck by a passing train. After the deadly accident, vehicles were kept from crossing the tracks at First Street and Hamilton Boulevard.

It’s unclear what caused the accident to occur. Sadly, the pedestrian could not survive their injuries and was pronounced dead.
