[01-24-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Getting Struck by a Train in Pomona

An unidentified person was killed following a deadly train crash in Pomona on early Monday morning, January 24, 2022.

The deadly accident happened on Second Street and Curran Place in Pomona at approximately 1:00 a.m.

The pedestrian was struck by a passing train. After the deadly accident, vehicles were kept from crossing the tracks at First Street and Hamilton Boulevard.

It’s unclear what caused the accident to occur. Sadly, the pedestrian could not survive their injuries and was pronounced dead.

Information about the crash is limited at the moment. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.
