[02-01-2023] Two Injured After Possible Hit & Run Cable Car Crash in Nob HillTwo people were hurt following a possible hit-and-run collision between a vehicle and a cable car in San Francisco on Wednesday evening, February 01, 2023.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, the two-vehicle crash occurred at about 6:00 p.m. at Washington Street and Hyde Street in Nob Hill.

Two Muni drivers were onboard the cable car at the time of the crash. They sustained unspecified injuries but should reportedly be fine.

Responders arrived at the scene to find the cable car derailed due to the impact. The other unidentified car involved was nowhere to be found.

According to police, they are currently searching for any witnesses.
