Authorities reported that a man was hospitalized in critical condition following a hit-and-run collision in Antioch early Thursday morning, February 09, 2023.
According to the Antioch Police Department, the crash occurred at about 12:45 a.m. at the intersection of Deer Valley Road and Rocky Point Drive.
Responding officers arrived on the scene and found a man with serious wounds lying on the road. He was flown by air ambulance to a nearby trauma center in a very critical state. No further updates on his condition were released.
Police believed an unidentified car struck the victim and quickly left the scene. There was no other information on the vehicle involved.
As the search and investigation continued, anyone with information was encouraged to contact the authorities.
