[02-09-2023] Kern County, CA – Driver Severely Injured After Rear-End Crash on Highway 99

A two-vehicle crash left a driver with severe injuries in Bakersfield on Thursday night, February 9, 2023.

Authorities stated that the collision transpired around 8:41 p.m. on northbound Highway 99 and Panama Lane.

According to reports, the driver of the Chevrolet Volt rear-ended the tanker trailer.

The victim was rushed to a hospital with severe injuries by paramedics.

Alcohol or drugs did not appear to be a factor in the crash, and investigations are still underway.
