[02-14-2023] Humboldt County, CA – Two-Vehicle Collision in Myers Flat Resulted in Minor Injury

A minor injury was reported following a two-car collision north of Myers Flat in Humboldt County on Tuesday afternoon, February 14, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at about 1:16 p.m. on the northbound lanes of Highway 101.

The crash reportedly involved a red Toyota Tacoma and a silver sedan damaged on its front end. The circumstances leading to the crash are still being looked into.

The driver of the sedan reported experiencing chest pain, while the driver of the Toyota was unharmed. An ambulance was said to be en route to the collision site.

The damaged vehicles blocked the highway’s northbound lanes, one of which was reopened after less than an hour. The investigation continued.

Two-Vehicle Accident Statistics
