[02-16-2023] Kern County, CA – Three-Car Collision in Bakersfield Broke Fire Hydrant, One Injured

One person was injured, and a broken fire hydrant flooded streets after a multi-vehicle collision in Bakersfield on Thursday night, February 16, 2023.

According to reports, the crash transpired around 10:30 p.m. on Coffee Road and Olive Drive.

Authorities stated that three vehicles were involved and transported one person to the hospital. Details on the victim’s condition are currently unknown.

The fire department also added that Cal Water made all necessary repairs to the fire hydrant.
