One innocent driver was killed following a two-vehicle collision that resulted from a police pursuit in Los Angeles on Thursday morning, February 16, 2023.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred early morning at about 1:00 a.m. at the intersection of Roscoe Boulevard and Lindley Avenue in Northridge.
LAPD officers were reportedly pursuing armed robbery suspects driving a dark-colored SUV after they failed to make a traffic stop. The suspects ran a red light and continued west on Roscoe where they collided with a black sedan traveling south on Lindley at the intersection.
The sedan’s driver was declared dead on the spot. Their identity was not released right away. The suspect driver and their passenger fled the scene and were chased by officers on foot. They established a perimeter, and the driver was later apprehended.
The second suspect, the passenger in the SUV, is still being sought after. Anyone with information is urged to contact the authorities.

What to Do After a Hit-and-Run Accident
As soon as possible after being in a car accident, you must contact law enforcement. Instead of making assumptions in response to law enforcement interrogation, provide them with straightforward answers. Victims may feel the need to apologize even if they were not at fault. Insurers may use such behavior as grounds for a claim denial.
