A bicycle crash claimed the life of a 9-year-old, identified as Damian Ayala C., in Arvin on Thursday, February 23, 2023.
The fatal collision reportedly occurred at the intersection of Tarver Way and El Camino Real.
According to reports, the victim was on a motorized bicycle when he collided with a truck.
Paramedics were immediately called to the scene and transported the boy to Kern Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Further details surrounding the victim’s identity and the circumstances of the crash have not been released.
Investigations are still underway.
