[02-28-2024] Los Angeles County, CA – Rider Killed, Passenger Injured Following Motorcycle Vs. Vehicle Collision in Van Nuys

A rider was killed, and a passenger was injured following a motorcycle vs. vehicle collision in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, on Wednesday evening, February 28, 2024.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision happened around 7:18 p.m. on the 7000 block of Woodley Avenue between Vanowen Street and Sherman Way.

Authorities stated that the motorcyclist was heading south on Woodley, where he collided with the SUV, which was making a left turn.

Police said that the rider and his female passenger were taken to a hospital, where he died. The woman sustained severe injuries and was listed in critical condition.

The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

No further information was disclosed. The investigation continues.
