The pedestrian accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Alice Street.
He died on March 26, 2022, as a result of his injuries.
His death is being investigated as a homicide, according to authorities.
Witnesses and surveillance video showed that the person who hit Leung did so on purpose, according to police.
Following the crash, authorities said they had arrested a suspect on suspicion of assault.
