Shots were fired after a road rage incident at an intersection in Lancaster on Friday evening, March 18, 2022.

[03-18-2022] Los Angeles County, CA - Possible Injuries After a Road Rage Incident in LancasterThe incident happened at the intersection of Avenue I and Valley Central Way on the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway at around 9:28 p.m.

The incident began when one of the involved vehicles cut off the other, escalating to road rage.

The vehicles were somewhere between Avenue I and Avenue K when one of the parties shot at the other, hitting the victim’s vehicle on the left side of the road.

In his attempt to escape, the victim rammed the suspect vehicle, exited Avenue K, and reentered northbound SR-14 from Avenue K, where he came to a stop on the right shoulder.

The suspect did not stop and drove away from the scene. A description of the suspect’s appearance and the vehicle is unavailable.

The incident is currently under further investigation. Witnesses that can provide additional information about the mishap are urged to contact Officer Parks or Officer Murawski at the Antelope Valley Area CHP office at 661-948-8541.
