One person was killed, and another was injured after a hit-and-run collision in Santa Fe Springs early Thursday morning, March 23, 2023.
According to reports, the crash transpired around 4:08 a.m. on westbound State Route 60, east of Crossroads Parkway.
Authorities stated that multiple vehicles were involved in the collision, which a wrong-way driver caused. Due to the impact, one person was pronounced dead at the scene, while another sustained severe injuries.
The suspect driver allegedly fled the scene on foot. Officers have not released any details on the victims’ identities, and further investigations are ongoing.
