[03-24-2023] Tulare County, CA – One Person Sent to Hospital After Visalia Crash Involving Stolen Truck

One person was sent to the hospital with possible injuries after a traffic crash involving a stolen truck in Visalia on Friday afternoon, March 24, 2023.

The Visalia Police Department reported that the two-vehicle collision occurred near the intersection of Caldwell Avenue and Ben Maddox Way.

The involved Dodge truck was reportedly stolen from Porterville by two people. The driver, 38-year-old Blake H., was treated for unspecified injuries following the crash. He was detained for an outstanding arrest warrant for various charges.

The passenger, 42-year-old Miguel R., was located near 900 E Arlen Avenue after complaints about a suspicious individual in the area started to come in. He was also arrested.

The motorist of the other vehicle that got involved in the crash was transported to the hospital for medical evaluation. No further updates were released on the victim’s identity and possible injuries.

No other information was immediately available as the further investigation continued.
