A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene in Humboldt County on Sunday morning, March 26, 2023.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the hit-and-run crash occurred before 8:30 a.m. at 4400 Little Fairfield Street just outside Eureka.
The circumstances that led to the crash remain unknown. The unidentified pedestrian was transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries and in an unknown condition.
The vehicle reportedly fled the scene following the crash. No description of the car and its driver was immediately available.
