[03-28-2022] Kern County, CA – One Woman Killed, Two Men Injured in Fatal Head-On Crash on South Lake Road

A 31-year-old woman identified as Teodosia H. was killed, and two others, 38-year old Eminglio H. and Jose E., were hurt in a head-on collision on South Lake Road on Monday, March 28, 2022.

According to authorities, the crash happened on a Monday about three miles east of Gardner Field Road.

According to reports, the 31-year-old woman was driving eastbound in a 2012 Acura when she entered the westbound lanes for unknown reasons. As a result, a 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck collided head-on with the Acura.

The Acura driver was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of her injuries.

In the meantime, her passenger, Hernandez, sustained serious injuries. The pickup’s driver, identified as Espinoza from Maricopa, was also seriously injured.

First responders eventually arrived and transported both men to Kern Medical for treatment.
