[03-29-2023] San Diego County, CA – Toddler Sustained Injuries After Hit-and-Run Crash in Imperial Beach

A hit-and-run crash left a toddler with injuries in Imperial Beach on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.

According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office, the collision occurred around the evening at 801 Palm Avenue within Breakwater Shopping Center’s parking lot.

A 3-year-old child named Josiah H., diagnosed with autism, was strolling to buy ice cream with his mother when a white car struck the child.

The vehicle immediately fled the scene, leaving the toddler with injuries on the foot.

The authorities are currently searching for the driver.
