What You Need To Do Following an Accident

After you have gathered evidence, you should call the police if you feel comfortable doing so. The police can then use this centralized database to keep track of the details of the accident, which are then filed away safely within the police department.

When an accident occurs, the police usually show up. If they don’t, you can always call or visit your local police station after the accident to report it. If the police are far from the accident scene, they will still collect that data. Even if police aren’t present at the time, a report will be filed afterward.
