[03-31-2023] Motorcyclist Seriously Injured After Collision with Truck in VallejoOne motorcyclist was seriously injured after a motorcycle vs. truck collision in Vallejo on Friday afternoon, March 31, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred around 3:20 p.m. on the 80 Freeway close to Redwood Street.

According to the dispatch, an unidentified motorcyclist rear-ended a truck. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.

The rider was sent to Kaiser Vacaville hospital after suffering serious injuries. No words yet on their current condition.

There was no additional information given about the crash. It remains unclear whether intoxication or speeding played a role.
