At least five people were hurt following a two-vehicle crash in Hesperia on Friday night, April 1, 2022.
The accident transpired at approximately 8:24 p.m. in the area of Escondido Avenue, near Hollister Street in Hesperia.
A white 1997 Honda Accord and a pickup truck collided on the roadway for unclear reasons. The circumstances leading up to the crash have not been established.
One person was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by the San Bernardino County Fire Department.
One person was airlifted to a trauma center with unspecified injuries. Meanwhile, three other people sustained minor injuries in the mishap. The pickup truck driver also sustained minor injuries.
The Honda Accord had major rollover damage, while the pickup truck sustained driver-side rear-end damage following the collision.
An active investigation of the crash is currently underway.
