A fatal hit-and-run crash left one pedestrian dead and another injured in Santa Ana early Sunday morning, April 02, 2023.
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the crash occurred around 2:00 a.m. near the corner of South Ross Street and St. Gertrude Place.
A car struck two pedestrians, a man and a woman, before speeding off without stopping. Both were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment but only the woman survived.
