What You Need To Do After a DUI Accident

Upon collecting the information, it is wise to file a police report assuming it is safe. This allows the police to keep a record of what happened during the accident on a central database, to keep them on file within the police department, and to ensure that these records are secure.

It is common for the police to attend the scene of an accident regardless of circumstances. Still, if they do not attend, you can contact your local police department via phone or in person and file an accident report. Hence, if the police do not arrive at the collision scene, they will collect that information and produce an incident report afterward.
