[04-03-2022] San Diego County CA – One Person Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on SR-94

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on the 94 Freeway in San Diego, California, Sunday evening, April 3, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash occurred at 10:58 p.m. on the westbound 94 Freeway near 28th Street.

According to the CHP, the pedestrian was seen on the first lane.

Apparently, a male was screaming that he had been struck by a vehicle, according to the California Highway Patrol.

At approximately 11:25 p.m., firefighters arrived and began performing CPR on the pedestrian; however, the pedestrian died as a result of the crash.

Nothing indicated that the vehicle driver that struck the pedestrian had come to an immediate halt.
