[04-05-2023] Imperial County, CA – One Person Injured After Multi-Vehicle Collision Along Interstate 8

A multi-vehicle collision left one person injured along Interstate 8, Imperial County, on Wednesday, April 05, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around the afternoon within Brock Research Road and a nearby Border Patrol checkpoint.

A van struck three other vehicles that were on halt within a checkpoint.

There were a total of 10 people involved in the crash, but only one person was reportedly injured so far.

The driver of the van sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

The authorities released no further details about the accident.
