[04-05-2023] Kern County, CA – One Person Severely Injured After Hit-And-Run Along Highway 14

A hit-and-run crash left one person severely injured along Highway 14, Kern County, on Wednesday, April 05, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened along the northbound lane of Hwy 14, south of Sand Canyon Road.

A 48-year-old female driver was struck by a 22-year-old female driver named Briggitth G. and was left with severe injuries.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, and the suspect was apprehended thanks to an eyewitness.
