[04-05-2023] Driver Arrested After DUI Crash Injured Passenger in TurlockA driver was arrested after a DUI crash injured a passenger in Turlock on an early Wednesday morning, April 05, 2023.

According to the Turlock Police Department, the collision occurred around 2:57 a.m. within the 1100 block of Tawny Lane.

The vehicle had two occupants, a 22-year-old driver named Edgar C. and a 19-year-old passenger named Evelyn C.

Their vehicle crashed into another vehicle that was parked and unoccupied.

Evelyn C. sustained minor injuries, but both were tested for sobriety.

The couple was transported to a nearby hospital and was later booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center. Edgar C. was charged with DUI and causing harm to another person, while Evelyn C. was charged with public intoxication.
