[04-06-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – Two Women Killed After Solo Car Crash in South LA

Two women were killed following a single-vehicle crash in South Los Angeles early Thursday morning, April 06, 2023.

According to authorities, the fatal crash occurred around 1:00 a.m. on the 110 Freeway southbound near Gage Avenue.

A Nissan 4-door reportedly swerved off the road, hit a tree, overturned, and ejected the two female occupants. Another car traveling south then run them over.

The driver that struck the two women is helping the police with their investigation. DUI is not yet confirmed.

In the vicinity, there was only one open lane on the 110 southbound. By 6:30 a.m., all lanes had been restored.

Fatal Single-Vehicle Accident Statistics
