A single-vehicle crash killed two people and injured four more near Grapevine, Kern County, early Sunday morning, April 09, 2023.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 3:00 a.m. along Interstate 5, south of Laval Road on Wheeler Ridge.
The vehicle was traveling northbound and had six occupants, all of which were from Fresno, including a 19-year-old named Jaheim J.
Two of the occupants died, while four of them sustained severe injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital.
The authorities have yet to reveal further details about the crash.
