[04-09-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – One Man Killed After Motorcycle vs. Sedan Crash in Culver City

04-09-2023-One-Man-Killed-After-Motorcycle-vs.-Sedan-Crash-in-Culver-CityOne man was killed following a collision between a motorcycle and a sedan in Culver City on Sunday morning, April 9, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the fatal crash occurred around 12:56 a.m. on the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway, south of Venice Boulevard.

Witnesses informed the CHP that a motorbike and a car collided, leaving the motorcycle rider in the HOV lane and the car completely consumed in flames.

One man was declared dead by 1:07 a.m. It remains unclear whether he was the motorcycle rider or the sedan driver.

The traffic in the area was diverted as all northbound lanes were closed for a couple of hours.

No further information was immediately available as the investigation continued.

Fatal Motorcycle Accident Statistics
