[04-10-2023] Los Angeles County, CA - Two People in Critical Condition After Long Beach Motorcycle vs. Car CollisionTwo people were critically injured following a crash between a motorcycle and a vehicle in East Long Beach on Monday afternoon, April 10, 2023.

The Long Beach Police Department reported that the collision occurred at about 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Redondo Avenue and 10th Street.

The responding officers arrived at the scene and located a male motorcycle rider and his female passenger suffering from serious wounds.

The two were taken by paramedics to a nearby hospital, where they are still in critical condition. No updates have been released yet.

There was no information available regarding the vehicle’s driver involved in the collision.

Redondo Avenue from 8th to 11th Streets and 10th Street from Coronado to Newport Avenues were shut down from traffic.

The investigation into the crash continues.
