[04-11-2023] Tehama County, CA – Two People Hospitalized After Utility Truck Fire in Corning

A utility truck fire caused two people to be hospitalized in Corning on a Tuesday morning, April 11, 2023.

According to the Corning Fire Department, the fire occurred at approximately 9:00 a.m. in a parking lot in Petro Travel Center, between South Avenue and South Highway 99 West.

The fire department saw the two men outside engulfed in flames, and one was rolling around the grass.

The two were rescued and transported to a nearby hospital to treat their burn injuries.

The authorities are currently investigating the nature of the fire accident.
