[04-20-2022] Contra Costa County, CA – Five People Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Marsh Creek Road

Five people were injured, with one motorcyclist airlifted following a crash between a motorcycle and a vehicle on Marsh Creek Road on Wednesday, April 20.

[04-20-2022] Contra Costa County, CA - Five People Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Marsh Creek RoadThe East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to the crash at 11:41 a.m. in the 19000 block of Marsh Creek Road near Lydia Lane in unincorporated Brentwood.

According to preliminary information, Battalion 5 arrived on the scene to find a rider unconscious in the roadway.

According to the California Highway Patrol log, the crash involved a motorcycle and a white Subaru Outback.

The rider was seriously injured, and the medical helicopter was dispatched to the scene.

Four other people were injured in the crash, according to Battalion 5, but they were treated and released at the scene.

AMR transported the motorcyclist to the Round Valley Staging area before transferring him to a medical helicopter and airlifting him to a local hospital.

There are no other details available.

The CHP is still investigating the crash.
