[04-21-2022] San Diego County, CA - One Person Hurt After a Motorcycle Crash Along Coronado AvenueOne unidentified person was hurt following a motorcycle collision on east Coronado Avenue on Thursday evening, April 21, 2022.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the collision occurred at approximately 6:51 p.m. in the 1600 block of Coronado Avenue.

The rider was riding his 2003 Honda Shadow motorcycle eastbound on Coronado when he hit a westbound driver in a 2002 Toyota Corolla who had made a left turn in front of him headed onto 16th Street.

Paramedics and emergency personnel later arrived at the scene. The rider sustained several leg fractures and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.

The Toyota driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The driver and his two passengers were uninjured by the mishap.

Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
