A 32-year-old woman was possibly injured following a collision between a vehicle and a school bus in Riverside County on Friday morning, April 21, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred before 8 a.m. on La Alba Drive and Winchester Road.

As per the report, a 54-passenger school bus carrying 29 kids was rear-ended by a Volkswagen. No one on the school bus was injured. The bus was en route to Bella Vista Middle School.

However, the other vehicle’s driver complained of pain after the crash but refused medical attention.

As per the reports from CHP, a second school bus was on its way to the location by 8 a.m. However, no information was available about the expected arrival time for the substitute bus.
