A passenger died after a fiery truck collision along Cajon Pass, San Bernardino, early Friday morning, April 21, 2023.
According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, the fatal collision happened around 4:30 a.m. near the Highway 138 exit on northbound Interstate 15.
A gray Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck rear-ended a semi-tractor-trailer and caught fire.
Three people were reportedly involved where a female passenger was killed, the pickup driver was injured, and the semi-tractor-trailer driver was left unharmed.
Two lanes were temporarily closed off while the California Highway Patrol continued their investigation.
