[04-24-2023] Riverside County, CA – 40-Year-Old Pedestrian Woman Killed After Being Struck by Semi-Truck in Indio

A 40-year-old pedestrian woman from Thermal, identified as Blanca Q., was killed after being struck by a semi-truck along Interstate 10 in Indio on Monday night, April 24, 2023.

According to the California Department of Forestry and Fire, the incident occurred at 10:07 p.m. along eastbound I-10 at the Jackson Street interchange.

Firefighters found the pedestrian dead at the scene upon arrival.

The authorities have not yet released any further information.
