At least one officer was injured after a 24-year-old man crashed into two police vehicles in San Francisco on Wednesday night, April 27, 2022.

The San Francisco police responded to the call and located the stolen vehicle. As they attempted to pull the suspect over at a traffic stop, the driver drove away from the scene.

The officers then found the suspect on Union and Montgomery street and noticed that the suspect was exiting a dead end. The suspect then rammed a marked police vehicle and continued to drive toward Alta and Montgomery streets.

The suspect then crashed into a second police vehicle, injuring one police officer. The suspect then left his vehicle and attempted to flee on foot while officers chased after him.

Later, he was located at Pacific Avenue and Beckett Street and taken into custody. He was identified as Robert S., and he is facing many charges, including possession of the stolen property, assault, hit-and-run, and reckless evading.

He was taken to San Francisco County Jail, where he was booked. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
