[04-28-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – Eight People Injured Following Two-Vehicle Crash in Mid Wilshire Neighborhood

At least eight people were injured following a two-vehicle crash in the Mid-Wilshire neighborhood of Los Angeles early Friday morning, April 28, 2023.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, authorities responded around 2:00 a.m. to the crash at the intersection of La Brea Avenue and San Vicente Boulevard.

Four victims were taken to the hospital, and three others were treated at the site. Authorities stated that only one victim sustained life-threatening injuries.

A traffic signal was destroyed, and one vehicle collided with a fire hydrant, causing water to spray 30 feet into the air.

Due to the crash, all southbound lanes of La Brea Avenue between San Vicente Boulevard and Olympic Boulevard remained closed until 5:00 a.m.

The authorities have yet to release further details about the crash and the victims.
