A 45-year-old homeless man was fatally struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross Venice Boulevard in Palms, Los Angeles, on Sunday evening, May 4, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision occurred at approximately 8:45 p.m. at Venice Boulevard and Glendon Avenue.
Authorities reported that the vehicle was traveling eastbound in the right lane when it struck the man, who was walking northbound across the street.
The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver involved in the collision remained at the location and cooperated with investigators.
The crash remains under investigation.
