One person was injured in a wild crash that sent a car barreling toward a home before catching fire on Friday, May 6, 2022.

The video shows the speeding car barreling toward the house, colliding with a mailbox, and flipping several times.

According to authorities, the car crashed upside down into the side of the house and quickly caught fire.

Firefighters arrived quickly and were able to put out the fire.

According to Orange County Fire Authority investigators, the driver and a passenger escaped the smashed car.

One of them was taken to the hospital and was reportedly stable.

Authorities claim that the other person refused to seek medical help.

No one was inside the house at the time of the crash.

The house itself was not badly harmed.

The cause of the crash is unknown.

The crash remains under investigation.
